reasons im switching to blips:

  • less advertisement, contained to banner ads instead of individual blips being ads themselves
  • seamless integration with my e621 account
  • small userbase
  • instant access to furry art, including furry pornography
  • image & video hosting up to 100mb (as long as it is furry art and meets posting guidelines)
  • blips are sorted chronologically rather than by an algorithm
  • no voting/likes system for blips, which is radical and in style
  • no intrusive notifications

    In recent years people started using the downvote button on comments wrong.

    They now use it to say "No" to a question, or "You are wrong" to a statement. But that implied message is never received unless the commenter decides to check out that comment again, which could be never.

    The only meaningful effect is that the comment will end up as hidden. Isn't it obvious that upvotes and downvotes on comments are supposed to be for the community to moderate itself? How is posting a question, to which the answer happens to be no, essentially worthy of a censor?

    If you want to say "no", then click the fucking reply button and say it. Stop pushing people's comments under the rug without them ever knowing about anything. They asked a question, so give them the answer. They made a factually incorrect statement, so correct them.

    Giving a downvote doesn't mean "No" or "I don't agree", it means "This comment is garbage and belongs in the trash."

    I find it rather interesting that the site's most upvoted comment is on the most downvoted post.

    currently trying to figure out whether or not this alternative unused cover for MBDTF was actually made by George Condo or if its unofficial fanart (and if its fanart then who the original creator is). also trying to figure out whether or not it would get deleted if i were to upload it here.

    Apparently there are 260 Fluffy Pony artists on e6. It doesn't include the deleted posts or unknown_artist so it should be around 265 if I include them. Peace made a few mistakes so the real number might be slightly higher.

    I did mod 2077 on my steamdeck once which was a ballache cause its Linux then an update broke the mods much easier with vortex

    Finally got cyberpunk 2077 to work with mods also got a cool anthro mod where not only does it change the player but if selected can change some of the npcs too

    Wow, there are so many talented and hard-working artists on the internet! I think today I'll go to bat for people who trace AI and start hiding the evidence and lying about real artists supporting them when they're caught

    I'm honestly surprised how often I see threads (here and elsewhere) complaining about artists getting their stuff taken down or AI accusations. and I look at their stuff and it's almost all just got the most KovarShark-ass generic AI art style I've ever seen.

    and then somehow everything looks like it's drawn by a homunculus comprised of every single furry artist but at the same time also looking nothing like the images adjacent to it.
