what if the bodypaintings are made with blood or something
Updated by anonymous
post #730076 Quite a few instances of bodypaint could arguably be tattoos.
post #631846 Some may even just be ornate natural markings.
I'm not saying every instance of bodypaint needs to have a dripping-wet appearance or involve a paintbrush to confer a paint tag, but like Mutisija suggested: It might not always be paint.

painting should get the implication before bodypaint if we're going to tag it that way.
According to wiki, painting (see also photo) is to be used for the object so that might not be a better idea really. Even if the wiki is older it still seems to be somewhat valid since we have creating_art, artist, *_(artwork), but maybe we need to disambiguate painting since I couldn't really find any way to separate the general action from the (often framed) object.
In addition painting is often used for art that looks like it was painted, see e.g. set:c_not_painting painting for posts tagged painting with no painted object or painting action in them which would be more suitably tagged with the respective *_(artwork) tag.

True.
A prime example that would counter this tag implication would be Rain Silves painting the area around and below her eyes with blood.

I'm going to go ahead and deny this one. While technically correct, I don't think that the implication really adds much, particularly since the tags are so messy to begin with.
