Too vague.

I think a lot of them meant to type thong.

Others are unknown_species.

With only 26 posts, I think it's easier to fix them now than to completely invalidate them.

Yes. Especially when we can use the tag for other purposes.

My opinion: Changing the type of thing to species and then removing all other uses manually.

Invalidating it is way too much.

Don't even change the type, just move everything to proper tags.
