I've noticed a couple, maybe more, posts like that tagged with just troll, which seemed odd. Glad to know there was an actual tag for it

Shouldn't we alias that tag to alternian? Or does the Beforan troll break that?

Probably, yeah.

I really dunno if there's a need to split the species even further at the moment (<250 posts, not counting ones mistagged as troll, or not tagged at all); no real opinions about having separate tags for them

Although even if you do use separate tags, there's still a need for a unifying tag, which is currently covered by troll_(homestuck)

As for the troll tag, we'll probably have to disambiguate it someday.
Since it also gets tagged for trolling and trollface.
