tired is being used in both "after exercise fatigued" and "eyes are going to close" situations. So it needs some sort of fixing.

"Tired" can refer to physical exhaustion instead of drowsiness.
Quick glance over the 1st page of Tired I found a handful of exceptions to "sleepy-tired".
"Tired" as in physically exuasted:
