This has been rejected at least once already, on the basis that it is too visually distinct from what users expect when searching for teeth.

not all fangs are teeth. spiders have fangs but they aren't bone, so they're not teeth.

Thanks for bringing me up to date on this. I did some brief research and fangs are defined as teeth, but spider fangs are apparently the exception to this.

I don't think that a tooth needs to be made out of bone to be defined as a tooth. But yea, the structure of spider fangs is different than other fangs.

pardon me but why is the fangs tag even being used for those. Their appaerance and usage is generally more akin to the mandibles of insects.
