The main problem that I can see with this is that a lot of people interpret "viscera" as bloody meat chunks, not specifically the intestines.
The definition you provided also specifies the abdomen and just provides intestines as an example. The intestines aren't the only organ in the abdomen.

there are like 8 posts tagged viscera and afaict they all show intestines. I would say it might be more reasonable to alias this to guts but intestines are already implied to guts so at this point it seems kind of arbitrary.
looking at things, maybe also imply:
intestines I-> organs
