Topic: How do I upload content licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 3.0 Unported?

Posted under General

I haven't really uploaded anything to this site, but I can't seem to find any specific pages that would assist with this. For context, the file in question was released under a Dropbox folder, but another file titled "License" stating that the files in said Dropbox folder were licensed under https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/. This is partially due to said files also being used on a website that uses said license for the content uploaded onto it. If necessary, I can provide links to the relevant files, but I want to be sure I will not get in any trouble if I try to credit the original creator.

Also, on a somewhat related note, am I allowed to link the origin of the files on the website (https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com) as a source, despite me grabbing them from the Dropbox due to their better resolution? The link in question would be for the actual article and offset where it is included, like this.

Just add the tag cc-by-sa. Crediting the original creator is mandatory unless they wish to remain anonymous.

You can add several links as sources if necessary.
