Topic: 'semi-anthro' clarification?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

It's my understanding that semi-anthro is a sort of in-between-tag that can be used alongside anthro or feral to denote that a character has features of both.

Most of my uploads involve a character that I think is often depicted as anthro semi-anthro being drawn as a biped with digitigrade legs, but I find that the semi-anthro tag often gets removed even when the legs are clearly not humanoid (such as post #6174252 and post #6107652).

So how should the tag be used? If I'm just wrong that's fine, but I'd like to know why.

Legs alone doesn't make something semi-anthro. The shoulders and torsos in the examples are very human. A kinda loose rule-of-thumb is that it would be shaped more-or-less feral put on all fours, rather than like a human doing a bearcrawl.
