Just wondering how far meta tags should extend? If sexuality (or pronouns, for that matter) are provided on a model sheet, does that qualify? It would function the same way character_name or species_name does. It might need a bit of untangling, because posts use stated_sexuality despite the information being viewer-oriented.

character_name and species_name should probably be general tags. Honestly there are a lot of meta tags that should be general tags.

I disagree that they should be general tags, all you can see from actually looking at them is some english text, you have to know more to know what they actually are

Since I made this post I've been noticing a lot of posts which would qualify under meta (at least with how the category is currently used). Even something as simple as outline should probably be considered meta, if shaded is. (Are... speech bubbles meta?)
forum #418449 (multiple_angles should be meta as well) was one BUR in particular I'd like to see approved, but it seems like there's more discussion needed.

I agree. A lot of tags should be moved from general to meta because they are about the way of showing things instead of things existing in a scene.
But the meta category is more difficult to get approved than others (that are even automatically accepted). Thus many tags are left in general by default.
