Topic: A way to save default search tags?

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Sorry if this has already been asked, I wasn't able to find this discussed.

Is there a way to save some tag(s) to be automatically added to any search?

Specifically, I always add "order:score" to my searches and it would be really handy if I could just set my account to always have that tag when searching.

The closest thing I found is a "Frequent tags" option that'll put the tag on top of the list when autocompleting, but that doesn't help much.

If it wasn't a order tag, I would have said that you can add to your blacklist "-your_tag" for everything that doesn't have your tag to be blacklisted.
It would just hide content that doesn't match.

Otherwise, yes you should do that :

That's smart, how did I never think of that... Thanks!
(Not super convenient from mobile though)

Thinking about it, you can also write {{order:score}} in the "about me" section of your profile page which will create a link to the order:score search page which may be easier to use on mobile.
