Topic: Why people change BlueskyPermalink?

(This is more a question about sources than tags themselves, but since it's part of the info you add to a post, I suppose it also counts. If not let me know and I'll correct the category to General)

I have noticed that, when I post my arts, giving my BSky post as one of the sources, people edit the link of the BSky post to another one.
For example, they change

https://bsky.app/profile/jmluxro.bsky.social/post/3mfnkmkqgrq2j

for

https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:7mcqnbf32ipbrazzntiamid2/post/3mfnkmkqgrq2j

Both work the same way as far as I can tell, so what is the reason for the change?

profile names can be change, the did will never change

Yeah I just read the sticky thread about the BSky permalinks, sorry 😅
I did try searching to see if it was answered before, but I guess I didn't use the right words for it. Now that I checked all the sticky threads, I saw the BSky one. Sorry for the inconvenience.
