Topic: What to do about an artist who switched names?

So I've been trying to add as many art pieces by zhmernalt as I can because I simply can't get enough of their art. However, they have gone by dzemon in the past and most of their art is tagged with that alias. Most art tagged with zhmernalt ALSO has a dzemon tag. How would this be handled? Would this be best solved with an alias, or by switching them all over to one artist tag? I don't want to continue tagging them with both if that is the incorrect way to go about this.

I'm relatively new to editing and uploading so I would greatly appreciate the insight! :~)

ah apologies! I may have submitted this prematurely, I found another thread with the same question and did what was suggested by a janitor on that thread- suggesting a tag alias :^) sorry about that! In the future I'll be sure to go through other forum posts first!
