...honestly, I'd rather exterminate the numbered tags for consistency. Given the distribution, I'd say most are really more interested in missing_all_arms/missing_all_legs (for 2_missing_limbs) & quadruple_amputee/missing_all_limbs (for 4_missing_limbs). Although there isn't currently a missing_all_limbs tag, I'd rather do something like...
alias 1_missing_limb -> missing_limb alias 2_missing_limbs -> missing_limb alias 3_missing_limbs -> missing_limb alias 4_missing_limbs -> missing_all_limbs
...maybe with an added...
imply missing_all_limbs -> missing_all_arms imply missing_all_limbs -> missing_all_legs
...but maybe there's edge cases where that isn't inherently true.

I can definitely see the reasoning there. I figured we should keep them because they could serve as umbrella tags for different combinations of missing limbs, like if a character was missing an arm and a leg. Thinking about it now, characters with more than four limbs being featured in posts like this might make it an issue, since we'd have to tag them with 6_missing_limbs or 8_missing limbs, and so on. An alias might be warranted.
I came up with an argument against missing_all_limbs implying missing_all_arms and missing_all_legs. If a quadruple amputee feral is missing all its limbs, it'd only be missing legs since it had no arms to begin with, right?

I said in another forum but "all" can work for characters with more than 5 limbs. (taurs, insects and other species I can't name right now...)
