Topic: I need help T<T

Im new to this website and everything is so confusing, I'm trying to post my art as myself but when I made myself as an artist it ignored the links I put in and added its own including fur affinity which I am not on and added art that is not mine. My artist name is “Indi” which is were the issues are in the tagging system as the content listed as “recent posts” Is not my own. I am only on deviant art and TRYING to upload to e621 my links are this account for e621 and https://www.deviantart.com/indecisive101 for my deviant art. Any help is appreciated this is just really stressing me out and I don’t want to be associated with art that is not mine.

This is currently what my artist tag looks like:

I don’t know why it put down a fur affinity domain and deviant at which is not mine, I gave the exact link to dva and it wasn’t enough. and I can’t find a way to edit the tag to fix this, I really need help with this thank you :<
Really I just want this artist tag and my links to it to be deleted this website is to stressful and confusing to navigate posting on and I don’t want someone elses art to be linked back to me even though I didn’t make it

The domains listed on artist pages are from the sources of the most recent 100 posts under the tag

For instance an artist I have a lot of art from gaokun has several links listed for sites they don't have due to the sources on their posts

There's nothing you can do to change it, and you shouldn't worry about it

Wait, indi is someone else's character tag, you can't just come in and take over an existing tag

But the artist page linking to my tags is wrong, I was trying to make a new tag with just my work and links; I just need my tags removed, I dont want to have other peoples art link to my deviant art and I doubt the artists would ethier that’s all I need changed

It didn’t tell me that when I was making it, as far as I was aware I was making a new tag although I’m on mobile so that might be the issue; also exactly that’s the issue I don't want to be on someone else’s artist tag because that’s not me or my art and I don’t want to take credit for someone else’s work

Thank you for clearing it that was absolutely not my intention I’m still trying to work out how this works, although while your here if you don’t mind answering one more question; do I need an artist tag if the post is my own work that hasn’t been posted anywhere else?

You still need to tag an artist whether it's yourself or someone else.
Not everyone here posts their own artworks anyways.

"indi" is quite ambiguous, even an artist tag like "indi_(artist)" would still be ambiguous, you should pick a more unique name and use that as your artist tag

Yes, every artist should have an artist tag regardless of where the art is or isn't uploaded
