Topic: Could we have an 'X number of posts on this page were deleted' disclaimer?

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

I don't like the 'young' purge (certain stuff feels over-broad, more specifically - why would a specific post by wansyon144 be deleted, but 'taur'-style and 'harpy'-style characters be acceptable?) but I get why it has to be done. This isn't for me to be butthurt over it!

INSTEAD, it'd be really nice if there was some indication that a post I was looking for was deleted. The aforementioned tiger-humanoid wansyon144 post was but it took going to their artist page and an existential "Am I gaslighting myself?" crisis to determine that it was, and I wasn't misremembering. A disclaimer near the bottom akin to the one for certain 'young'/'feces'/'gore'/etc. tags would fix this.

Hell, could we also get it for blacklisted tags too? I blacklisted -feces and even searching for it explicitly and exclusively gives me no indication how many posts were removed from my search. Thank you.

You can search with status:deleted or status:any, I don't see any use for a counter

Yes it does, there's a whole list on the left of the page with specific numbers for each blacklist line that affected the page

Unsure if you're saying this with or without knowing status:deleted metatag.

You can tell how many posts are blacklisted per page.
Go to https://e621.net/posts
Scroll down if you're on mobile. On desktop, check the left side of the page.
The number next to "blacklisted" is the number of posts that are currently hidden.
Blacklisted (10)

Oh, cool! Is there a way to set it as a default search term or something?

To be more specific, in re621's settings go to the Blacklist tab and add "status:any" to the "Persistent Tags" field

Combine that with status:deleted in your blacklist and you'd get them all counted for you.
