Topic: E621 not displaying correctly how many favourites I have

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Recently I've decided to clean up my favourites down from 33k to somewhere close 1.5k. And once I had finally wrapped up my favourites I noticed how mfew posts there were within each page. I usually display 50 posts per page and there were a few pages that had like 15ish posts at best. I've also made sure no tag was blacklisted. So, is there any reason as to why this happens? Also is there any fix?

All I can think of is that you have several long streaks of favorites that are broken apart by AI deletions, young human deletions, or takedowns.

Got it, is there any time frame we could expect for E621 to update its database so it won't display this sorta data incorrectly? Or is it bound to stay like this for years to come?

I don't think it's actually an error, just a bit weird behavior (something like deleted posts show in the actual /favorites search for pagination, but aren't actually returned). Anyway, you can see the deleted ones with fav:Kingbode status:any, though any such search won't preserve favorite order.

Yeah, you actually just have ~580 deleted posts in your favs. Since you manually removed ~95% of your favs, it makes a lot of sense that you have that many deleted favs left behind. When I cleaned mine out, I just put them all into a set & unfaved them; if you get fomo, using the above search to do the same might be best.
