Topic: On the notes limit: unlimited notes permission?

I tried looking for similar topics but the most recent thread I saw was from about 3 years ago.

I've bumped in to the '50 notes per hour' limit a few times, which I understand is there because of trolls who spam them. It would be nice if there were a permission like 'unlimited uploads' but for notes that Member level users who are known to be good translators could receive. This idea came up in those old threads where it was mentioned to be a low priority - has there been any progress or has this been forgotten?

If it took just over a minute to make the average note it wouldn't be as much of a problem, but as is I'm having to take breaks from spending all of my free time on the Internet! _{that's a joke}

Also, is there any place where one can see how long until they can make another note and/or how many are left before the limit? Besides searching oneself in note versions and trying to figure it out that way, I mean. Uploads and tag edits have something like this on the upload limit page.

Individual permissions like that don't exist, the privileged user level bypasses most of the limits (notes included), but that isn't just handed out for fun

Yeah, your translation looks decent to me. You're also active on forums. I don't see that much problem if you become priv.

You can get unrestricted uploads without being privileged though, right? Like this.

Yeah. Because they're different permissions.
I didn't have unrestricted uploads until a few days ago even though I became priv around 2 years ago.

There are only two "special" permissions that are outside of user levels:

• 1) Unrestricted uploads - Automatically approves uploads and removes the upload limit (but are still affected by hourly limits); only given to those who have proven themselves by consistently posting high-quality uploads or to artists who post a lot of good artworks.
• 2) Replacements beta - Grants the ability to submit post replacements; available upon request to an admin.

There is no special permission for unlimited notes, but you can get such a perk by attaining "Privileged" status like @Donovan_DMC mentioned (see e621:Accounts for the full list of perks).
However, they aren't given out to random users since there are also other account perks that could be easily abused if in the wrong hands. You will have to prove yourself to be trustworthy with handling these perks.

I know, I meant for this thread to be asking about whether or not a special permission for notes was still planned since I saw it was mentioned as a low priority issue years ago.
Sorry if that wasn't clear from my first post.
I didn't mean for it to come off as asking to be made privileged.

Yeah, privileged and unlimited upload are two distinct things, neither includes the other
