My guess is that they pushed an update that wound up forcing the theme to change

Look at the date…they tend to do something interesting on the site every March 31st/April 1st for April Fools.
I don't see anything yet. Timezone dependent? Buggy? Something I need to trigger? Doesn't work for Bloodlust/Eternal Winter? Hmm... I'll figure it out eventually.
EDIT: I guess it's supposed to force embellishments to "scales"?

it might only happen if you haven't manually set your embellishments in the themes settings.

Ah! Well, I'll manually April Fool's myself then! I was looking at the Themes/Gestures page earlier, so maybe I accidentally overwrote it before I could see it.

looking at the GitHub there is still more to come than just a green theme with scales, but it won't activate untill midnight in Arizona.

Yayz! Didn't notice the green option (Snake). I hope I'm not breaking anything by manually switching to Snake/Scales. Maybe I shouldn't be messing with this yet and just wait, lol. Hexagon/Scales seems to be the "default" right now, so I'll stick with that and see if anything happens later.
It happened to me too, I just went and changed it to Aurora.
