The snek game is pretty neat, though it pauses each time I hit a button on my phone
Kinda annoying but also helps with planning moves

I only average about 15 points because of the pausing

8/10, could use more snitties and snoobies.

Butt seriously, i really like it.

It would be nice if it stuck around like in a hidden corner of the site, it definitely can't stay as is though because it's breaking a lot of the site
maybe ok for a day or two, but very annoying longterm

Congrats on having a super wide monitor or being zoomed out way too much

You can disable it in https://e621.net/static/theme with the events option

It's really not the end of the world, definitely not worth getting that heated over

You can disable events like April fools stuff in themes
It's a fun game that I wish would stay if it gets all the kinks ironed out. maybe have tacked on the homepage

i do like this! a bit jank indeed, though pausing makes it alot easier… maybe it could remain on the site exclusively on like, the wiki page for snakes or just snek? in this facet it brings to mind goofy old youtube easter eggs which adds all sorts of character to the site

As somebody who typically hates April fools and all the pranks that come out of it, this one was pretty nice. I wouldn't mind it sticking around the site somewhere, like as an easter egg or something.
