Who does he answer to?
A top-class Arcanine, battle-bred and scarred. You could forge steel in his breath, and bend it over his bones - and he'd still be able to bite right through it afterwards. He's cracked battlefields just by scraping his claws along the ground. No-one asks the question of if he can be beaten - they're still working out how to face him.
And yet, just as servants must submit to a King of Battle, he is but a King under God...
And that tough-clawed, fire-bathed ruler gives himself.
