Species: pteranodon
Pteranodon is a genus of Pterosaur known for their lack of teeth, upward curving beak, and their skulls' upward-projecting bony cranial crests. Pteranodon are famously the main basis for the modern pop culture "pterodactyl", with the long beak and bony head crest being its primary borrowed features.
They are different from Pterodactylus, which are significantly smaller, have cone-shaped teeth, straight beaks, and potentially soft-tissue crests on their heads.
