The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog is a visual novel officially licensed by Sega released for free on Steam on March 31, 2023 (April 1, 2023, for some regions at the time) as an April Fools' Day celebration.
The game follows a quokka named by the player (known as Barry in the game files and launch trailer) who finds themselves in a murder mystery party as part of Amy Rose's birthday celebration. With the help of Tails, they must figure out who "killed" Sonic the Hedgehog.
