I like Fluffy Pony and I think it's inherently furry and part of MLP fandom even, especially hugbox is just regular furry/MLP fanart to me.
And while I see some bronies and furries in that community, mods there despise furry/MLP as well as porn.
They say they only want to focus on the abuse on FPs.
As for why folks on e6 hate FP, I don't really know. Probably because of gore?

The first few pages of

• gore score:<0 is mostly FP
• feces score:<0 is mostly FP

and the first page of urine score:<0 is mostly FP

Interestingly though fluffy_pony score:>0 returns 1216 posts. So 31% of FP posts are upvoted... Well, 431 posts (about 11%) is ed_mortis though.
