reminds me of back in the day, when there were forums that let you use external hosts for your avatar there were services that you could upload a bunch of images and had a link that would randomly pick one of those images to show every time a page with the image loaded. a lot of the time it was confusing, but most people kept it within a theme, at least.

I however, being the genius luminary I am, knowing what the technology was truly capable of, just uploaded, like, 12 dozen identical copies of my normal poorly-drawn cheep cheep avatar, leaving an ~1/144 chance to get the slightly altered gif version that had the dead-eyed Mario face from the ending of Mario Teaches Typing for a single frame after 30 seconds.
