Emm... Yes,the problem persists. I sent everything I wrote. I can't mark the text for copying, so I rewrote it. I don't know. Maybe I should reinstall tampermonkey?

Without much in the way of logs, for months now I have had an obscure issue I couldn't find anything about ever since it started happening.

Every time I did a single image download (button, or hotkey), the entire browser would crash.

Luckily, making even the slightest edit to the file name template in settings (add a character, click off, remove it, click off again) made this not occur any longer.

Edit: Never mind, the workaround I found only works until a browser restart.

I'm having a problem with the tags notifications feed, it's adding pictures that don't have any tags I'm watching and cluttering up my feed, does anybody know what might be going on?

Sounds like you're following some aliased tag, if you give a list of what you're following I can find which it might be
You can also search yourself through https://e621.net/tag_aliases

Wait, I think I found it, exposed_pussy aliases to vulva, that would explain it

I just found out that the Download Button (In the single post view) is gone in the new versions and wanted to ask if that was just a bad UI design choice or if its a bug?

(This open issue on github kinda made me unsure if its intentional or not https://github.com/re621/re621.Legacy/issues/438 )

The Download button was renamed to "View". Does the same thing, though, and gets you the original file.

For me the view button just opens the original file in a new tab but doesnt download it. (Just tested it on v1.5.104 / latest)

edit: I just realized I did a tech sin by not stating that the browser I'm using is Firefox on desktop (win10)

You can right click the picture in the new window and click "Save Image As...".

So it turns a one click action into a 3 click action and there is no plan on bringing the download button back?

Sorry if I'm being annoying I just use the plugin the follow all the artists I like and tend to download a lot (>500 followed tags) so I'm basically forced to roll back the update or do like 150 extra clicks a day.

A. This isn't a re621 change, this is a site change; there is no "rolling it back".
B. Doesn't re621 already have a mass download utility? I'm not certain, but I really thought it had something that was already more efficient than what you described.
C. It was replaced with a download button that actually triggers the download.
D. Give it a few hours & someone will have custom CSS to force the button to be always visible.

Assign download to a hotkey in re621 settings and you'll have the one click downloads back, even better though because no mouse movement is required

A. I rolled back to version 1.5.100 of re621 and the button is back and working as before (Just downloaded 24 images with it) (Here is a pic of it: https://imgur.com/a/ALBUZqO )

B. It has for main pages but the tab where all the new posts for followed tags show up doesnt (to my knowledge)

C. After a bit of searching I think you mean the one added in the three dot drop down menu. (I'm currently questioning my memory if unmodified e6 had a download button and I think my brain is a bit fried.)

Also since your a mod can you tell me if there is a thread for improvement suggestions or similar?
I would suggest that keeping the (new?) download button outside of the drop down since it takes up little space while most likely being one of the more heavily used buttons.

(Just wanted to add that I appreciate what you guys do, especially as a kind of datahoarder a free public archive of art (especially in high quality versions) is exactly the kind of thing I wish was more widespread on the internet.)

I think you just saved future me from developing carpal tunnel syndrome as well as giving me a reason to expand my nas again, but in all seriousness: Thank you, I didn't even know hotkeys existed.

CobinDela, the Raccoony extension may be an option also; it places its 'download' (raccoon image) button in exact bottom left, so if browser is fullscreen/maximized, it's very easy to hit.

Not sure if this bug has already been reported, but there's a minor bug with the link attached to small 'E621' image in header:

• normally (without re621) this links to e621.net, no matter where you are in the site. Which is a valid link
• With re621 but outside a forum thread, it links to e621.net/posts, which is a valid link
• With re621 and inside a forum thread (eg. right here), it links to e621.net/forum_topics/posts, which gives a 'Not found.' error page.

Looks like maybe a regular-expression replace on links is happening with an insufficiently-specific regexp.
