A character can be pred or prey without vore actually happening.

In particular, imminent vore is specifically not vore for tagging purposes (just as imminent sex isn't tagged sex), but you can have predators and prey with imminent vore as much as vore.

Always include a reason, no matter how obvious you feel it is.

In addition to Watsit and Furrin Gok's reservations, some of those tags are occasionally misused to refer to animals who are predator and prey in real life but not in the post. I have attempted to separate those use cases in topic #30788, though it may need an update.
