Topic: [Feature Request] Tag counters when uploading

I like the tag preview function; I think it is a great tool.
But I miss the old counter and sad/neutral/happy face that used to appear while adding tags.

I sometimes unintentionally forget to put more than 10 tags while doing uploads.
So, I think adding back a "counter" for general tags would improve the quality of uploads.

Something that shows people that they haven't put enough tags on their upload.

I also suggest that a warning happens on uploads with fewer than 10 general tags.

Something like:
"this upload has fewer than 10 general tags"
"Proceed?" Y/N

Or like the red boxes that appear on the upload page when you forget some essential criteria.

Not sure how would you forget to add at least 10 tags. But I'll admit, sometimes I forget basic stuff like artist, character etc.

I made a dynamic checklist for basic tags, and turned quick tags into checklist for standard tags.

You mean how to use it? Copy the code, paste it into Custom CSS, and click Save Settings. For quick tags checklist, also fill in your frequent tags (I have an example list).

If you want something like the smiley face tag counter in uploader, it can probably be added through CSS too.
