In case you missed it as well, the wiki for snake_penis also says that "a snake_penis is almost always a sentient_penis."
"Almost always" doesn't mean 100% "always", there could also be instances where it is just a snake-shaped penis without any signs of it having "its own personality."

In addition, I feel that snake_penis is an ambiguous name as it could mean a snake-shaped penis or the penis of a snake (i.e., hemipenes). It should really be renamed to penis_snake instead.

While clumsier, snake_for_a_penis is far less ambiguous when composed, like if we wanted to do anthro_for_a_penis (see also snake_for_a_tongue). To me, "penis snake" evokes creatures like these, closer to boobipede:

For the time being, I'll hold back from adding imply naga_for_a_penis -> anthro_for_a_penis and imply naga_for_a_penis -> snake_for_a_penis to that BUR, as cock_naga would require some cleanup to avoid the implication causing automatic mistags.

Open questions:

  • Should snake_for_a_penis imply snake (snake_penis commonly covers dragons, which would then need their own tag)?
  • Should there be a common tag unifying all of these? sentient_penis seems like the obvious one, but snake_penis currently has a lot of clearly non-sentient (as in "non-characters, lacking agency or awareness of their surroundings") posts under it.
    • creature_for_a_penis could be promising, but I'm not sure that folding "anthro" into "creature" is the right move, here.
  • If anthro_for_a_penis is to be a tag, is there ground for having feral_for_a_penis? That would obviously cover most (but not all) of snake_penis, but also more unique variants such as post #2020499, which would be dubious to call "anthro"
