Reason: If I'm understanding things correctly, the general consensus is to try and move away from <species>_ears tags to more versatile tags like prick_ears, folded_ears, and such.
Unlike with dog_ears and feline_ears, scrolling through the pages of fox_ears and wolf_ears only seems to show results where prick_ears would be appropriate. So as far as I know there wouldn't need to be any tag projects or whatnot required before aliasing.
Probably an obvious statement, but aliasing to prick_ears seems like the obvious choice, given the relative tag counts, prick_ears adequately describes the type of ears/ear shape that foxes and wolves have/are drawn with, and other possible description tags (E.G. such as triangle_ears) are already aliased to prick_ears.
