Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: catwoman -> dc_comics

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

I think this should be disambiguated, "cat woman" is very generic and could be mistaken/used as "female cat"

Ok, you need to stop spamming these.
1. You don't need a new forum thread for each; copy the id from the URL (e.g. https://e621.net/forum_topics/61828 -> 61828) & paste it in the Forum Topic box on the request page.
2. These related requests are more suitable for a BUR.
3. The BUR in forum topic #61810 was fine; I don't know why you rejected it to remake the same things again.

Do not make another spam request thread for this topic; just use this thread for all future related requests.

mass update catwoman -> catwoman_(dc)
create implication catwoman_(dc) (1) -> batman_(series) (1654)
create alias catwoman (345) -> catwoman_(disambiguation) (0)
change category cat-woman_(disambiguation) (0) -> invalid

If you are doing a mass update followed by an alias for the same tag, you'd need to split it into two BURs.
That is one of the limitations of BURs currently as the requests in them aren't processed sequentially (i.e., you may get the alias first before the mass update, resulting in nothing getting moved).

The bulk update request #13164 is pending approval.

create implication catwoman_(dc) (1) -> batman_(series) (1671)
create alias catwoman (360) -> catwoman_(disambiguation) (0)
change category catwoman_(disambiguation) (0) -> invalid

Oh man. I separated them.

I'm not familiar with DC. Does anyone know why these are tagged dc comics?

That's Catwoman from one of the episodes of Batman: The Animated Series. In the episode, she was temporarily mutated into a literal anthro cat to serve as a mate to a mad geneticist's male anthro cat creation. In these cases, she's basically catwoman_(dc) + alternate_species and maybe also batman_the_animated_series (unless she got mutated elsewhere, too).

Curious as to if the alternate form needs a separate character tag or alternate_species is enough.
