Redd is the official name of the character, used in in-game dialogue (image) as well as merchandise (image, amiibo card) and Smash Bros. trophies/spirits (image, ultimate spirit)
Crazy Redd is a nickname, primarily used in correlation with his shop in the original Animal Crossing game, "Crazy Redd's Furniture Emporium". 'Jolly Redd' is another nickname used for the New Horizons storefront, "Jolly Redd's Treasure Trawler". New Leaf has a store front without a nickname, simply "Redd's Gallery".
