Even if it is fire/dark, which is pretty much guaranteed given that it's based on a herl wrestler, that doesn't change the fact that it's design is hot garbage.

That is not fixing the issue that the form that will learn the better moves is of a type mixture that has been overused.

Blaziken was the first and it was very nice.

Infernape was a less useful blaziken and quite literally monkeyed it.

Emboar was at least a slight change in it being a slow tank instead of a more glass cannon.

however, we have done everything we can do with a fire fighting and we need something better, especially for a starter.

I only have two real problems with with final evolution of litten...

Looks like another Fire/Fight pokemon. It may be a Fire/Dark, but its appearance screams it to be a fighting type(don't be surprised if it learns some fighting type moves).

It looks like a weird, evil version of Tony the Tiger. There are definitely better designs for it to be a Fire/Dark type... hell they could of made this pokemon's final evolution the first Fire starter to end on four legs for once! Every Fire starter has ended up being a pokemon on two legs...

It will most likely learn a unique DARK move and heck, maybe the move is Fighting+dark, much like flying press is flying+fighting, so it'll still get the STAB.

Yeah but it still blocks technique growth.

Everybody keeps talking about the secondary type of the fire starter, but all i was hoping was that for once we'd get a fire starter that didn't end up standing on two legs. Grass and water get so much variation, and fire types are always so similar to each other........
