20 March: The 2026 staff drive is now CLOSED! If you are selected to move forward, you will be contacted via DMail. Important note: this process takes a long time, usually several weeks. If you would like to know the status of your application after 10 April, feel free to contact me (Rainbow Dash).
24 February: Just as a heads up, we've updated our uploading guidelines to include a new entry. This was added to address a string of bad faith content that was exploiting our very permissive content standards.
We still have a Discord server, come talk to us!

MemberIt would actually be cool if Sega will make a reference to that easter egg in Forces. Like, in one of Infinite's lines or maybe a picture like this as out-of-the-map easter egg. Like with those teddy bears in Modern Warfare

MemberYou know, it's quite nice to be one of the people just sitting there going "you know what? I like this reference. I like this character. I like this game." even though the entire fanbase around you explodes into shit when every little new detail is apparently a unholy murder.
But otherwise, It's actually quite nice that I found one related bit of Sonic Forces, even if it's a fan-made thing, that people aren't immediatly shitting on.

MemberInterestingly, it seems like only the hardcore fanbase (and stanrdard hat0rs) that shit on Forces. Official previews and news has been relatively middle-ground for the game.

MemberI think that the buddy insert character partner is a waste of time. Considering how gameplay works in Sonic Unleashed and Generations, Sega does not think the boost formula can work on it's own for an entire game. Instead they force in an excuse to try and pad out the game, hence the character missions and classic sonic, the wherehog, and 90% of Sonic Colors on the Wii being in 2D while the 3D sections have barely anything to speak of.
I want to agree with you so hard but sega is just falling back into the same shit that bogged down previous sonic games which again leads to the ever so famous Sonic Post Release Cycle of, "IT'S AMAZING THIS IS THE ONE- okay it's just a fine game- you know what actually it sucks god damn it the sonic series is dead- OOH A NEW ONE WAS JUST ANNOUCNED HOLY SHIT BOYS GET THE PAINT BUCKET!" -Zero Punctuation
Sega needs to hone in on their craft, add a couple of new franchises, refine sonic for what it is, and let spin offs and other franchises, and I mean actual other franchises, be experimental hamsters. Otherwise, we get Sonic Lost World and Sonic Boom AGAIN.
