Divine Intervention

I've had this sitting around for ages now, and finally had the time to finish it.

This is a collaboration between myself and darknatasha. I sketched Sekhmet, she sketched Anubis and added all the bling, then I drew in the background and painted it. The original will be available at AnthroCon in a few weeks. :]

In ancient Egypt, an annual festival was held for Sehkmet, the goddess of fire and destruction. The aim of the festival was less to honor her so much as to pacify the goddess, and rein in her fury and lust for carnage. In short, it was a festival of intoxication, where Egyptians danced and played music to sooth the goddess. They ritually drank great quantities of beer to simulate the extreme inebriation that stopped the wrath of the goddess, and spared mankind from her PMS rage fits for the umpteenth time. This time around, Anubis is doing his part to sooth the lady. ;]

    It's a collaboration. I think Dark Natasha did the pencils and Blotch did the color. Had it been all Blotch, needless to say there wouldn't be a boob in the picture.

    Blotch is two female artists, not a guy. And also I love the way blotch and Dark Natasha did this. AMAZING!!!!!

    I love Anubis, penis, it's beautiful. I'm not normally a fan of human-shape penis, but that is to-die-for.

    And Sekhmet; let's just say that if Anubis saw her the same way I do, he would have came aready...many, many times...

    I was kinda surprised realizing that you made the Anubis dark desire cover. This is just awesome, since you were the first furry artist i‘ve known.
