Can we make a new tag for this variation of Peach? Similar to "Zero Suit Fox"? It would make finding more of her easier, since "princess_peach" and "koopa" brings up a lot of other images.

Sounds like a fun plot for the second Mario+rabbids game. Or a Mario and Luigi game.

If this ever actually happened to Peach in the games then Bowser would probably be rendered incapable of kidnapping her anymore and also put into a perpetual spaghetti-spilling mode around her.

I was thinking a Paper Mario game, actually. One that went back to the 64/TTYD roots of enjoyable turn based gameplay and well written story.

Would be even funnier if it still turned out to be the impostor and never actually Peach.

Maybe a Mario + Bowser game where they work together because Mario is like "I gotta change her back" while Bowser is like "I gotta marry that!" and so they end up begrudgingly working together to catch her while she keeps egging them on to come after her, eventually revealing that it was all a ruse to prove to Bowser she's good enough for him and that her flirty statements were for Bowser the whole time. Meanwhile Mario is flabbergasted because his princess was in the FIRST castle.

This would be an excellent model for VRchat and sfm.

When they finally catch up to the villain (still in their garb), Mario and Bowser go on the offensive, but after besting them, Jr runs into the room to reveal who it is and we get a fakeout that it's peach (pink dress, yellow hair, crown", but then she shows she's actually a royal koopa and actual mother of jr.

Then they could have full family events in later games.

I'm not, I'm merely citing a different part of the development, namely when Itoi first presented it to Miyamoto, expecting him to be quite pleased with the initial pitch, but Miyamoto gave one of the most sterile responses of "Hmm... We'll have to see...", which is often dev speak for "nice idea, put it on the shelf and we likely will cannibalize the corpse if we need a new idea". Thankfully it didn't turn out that way.

I'm not out to villainize Miyamoto, he has done a great many good things, but he's only human and people should treat him like a human, in that he can be wrong, make mistakes, or make lousy choices.

Such as the butchering of Paper Mario or making Starfox Zero motion controls only.

So I contacted the 3D artist and he said he will finish it if someone commissions him to do so. I asked him for how much and he said both nsfw and sfw models together would cost about 260$. Just for anyone who wanted to know.

Idea for a fic/comic/whatever

Peach has always been a Royal Koopa. The Toads know this, Bowser knows this, Mario, Luigi and the other humans don't.

Peach uses her magic to appear human because she's not interested in Bowser, and thinks that Mario would be more willing to help if she were human.

Then one day, Bowser has enough, and reveals Peach's true form to the Brothers, believing that they'll be upset at being lied to... but then they still kick Bowser's butt.

It'd have to be readjusted for the whole "Mario, Bowser, Peach as babies" thing, but I'm sure someone would be able to write around that.

IS this what innocence looks like?

Looking back, we all should've seen this as a warning - as a sign of the things to come...
