depends on severity, the prostate makes seminal fluid and acts as a valve between the bladder and testes. it has nothing to do with production of testosterone.

Maybe rather than being fully destroyed, the prostate was simply damaged to the point that scar tissue formed over it? At which point, the scar tissue would greatly dull any sensation received by the prostate.

Interesting theory, but from the way he's acting he seems like he can still feel a lot of pleasure, so I'm inclined to believe that, at the very least, the nerve endings are still as sensitive as ever in there. Maybe his prostate's actually fine, and the artist was looking for a way to easily show that he got ED from being used so much.
