Nature can be cruel. But in this case its true. XD

sadly a lot of female spotted hyena end up unable to get their babies out and the baby dies trapped, normally the mother follows not long after...

I do see it. Unfortunately people on a lot of sites like this only see "trans" as girl with a dick or boy with a vagina. It's an unfortunate state of mature images... that what would determine "sex" in the real world is being misidentified as a character being transgender. Even when it's tagged accurately (like this one) people only see what porn has taught them.

I'd argue it's not being misidentified as trans. (And just to make sure we're all on the same page, what's being depicted is the hyena's clitoris/paeudopenis that it gives birth through.)

I'm a trans man, and as a certain flavour of furry I do enjoy being anatomically correct in some way. And as a trans man, when I learnt about female hyenas on youtube I had genuine envy over them, because I'd live a pseudo-penis like that. It's also female anatomy I can kind of relate to since myself and other trans men have REALLY big clits that get called a dick by all kinds of people.

It's really just fulfilling a fantasy (to some extent) through furry art, like ALL furry art does. and it's reasonable to use animals like this as the base for trans characters, even though these animals themselves are not trans.

Being trans is a state of mind, not a state of body.
