...there... wasn't an original point to the whole plot of that movie. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic and I loved it, but seriously? Not to mention that the whole 'daughter of the chief/king/whatever chooses the outsider' plot is in fact as old as time itself... Again, not that I have a problem with it, it keeps getting used 'cuz it's good.

But seriously. Shh.

I see this great art and I just wish he had bothered to do more pages with a really nice plot.

Like this final mating season, there actually IS one suitor who interests her. But her heart is already with Gullwing, so if she starts to fall for the new suitor at all, she is torn nearly in two and the decision weighs heavily upon her. Perhaps she leans toward the new arrival, and Gullwing has to come to terms with letting her go. Then Ark finds out that this new suitor is the son of the chieftain who was responsible for the destruction of his village. Will having his revenge be worth sacrificing everything that he has left...?
