I’m going off of memory, but basically rabbits used to be carnivorous but they ended up switching to plants which caused there digestive system to be all fucky, and that is the reason why they have to digest there food twice

And their pupils aren't the same horizontal oval shape as deer, goat or horse, but rather theirs is vertically oval... Like a cat's?!

Something the commenters I have read the posts of here seems to ignore: Anais has a rabbit father and a cat mother. A few artists had been playing on the 'the older she gets, the more her feline/carnivore details start to show' kind of theme.

"Kevin & Kell" has a similar theme. Kevin is a rabbit who's married to a wolf. They have a daughter who looks like a rabbit but acts very much like a wolf.
