Just to throw my two cents in, I'd first say that yeah, this definitely does qualify as rape. Even if he never says no, consent was never given. Maybe it will be in the finished product idk, but for people who don't see why this is rape just imagine if the genders were reversed, or maybe that the girl is whatever you'd imagine to be super unattractive. Forcing yourself into someone's home and pulling their clothes off without any indication of consent is absolutely sexual assault.

That said...many furries are very squeamish about proposing sex, and flirting is something of a foreign concept to them (I should know, I'm definitely in that category lol). So to them, this might not feel like rape at all - they're just putting themselves in the shoes of the guy in the animation who can't pick up on the girl's flirting enough to respond in kind even if he also finds her attractive. Or they might have a negative enough body image of themselves to ignore even obvious flirting because they reason there's no way they're reading the situation correctly. To them, the fantasy is more that they don't need to put themselves out there and possibly face rejection to get laid, they're just pushed to do something they wanted to do anyway but didn't feel confident enough to go for.

I agree with you that it's kinda messed up to portray SA in that light, but at the same time the appeal is maybe more understandable than, say, the desire to be vored or to be turned into a pool toy or something (no disrespect to those into that sort of thing, it's just definitely outside the norm).
