My first thought would be that the image is non-furry related, but the angel puts it into a gray area. There are other examples of "human" angels (angels with basically no animalistic features aside from the typical wings) on the site, so that suggests that the inclusion of an angel here makes this piece qualify for being allowed on this site.

All that being said, this is an odd place to post such an image.

Why not? E621 isn't exclusively for porn, after all, and the wings of the angel plus arguably the oxen in the background make it relevant.

Of course it's still in effect. However, last I checked, humans don't come equipped with bird wings coming out of their backs. That's certainly more of a nonhuman trait than pointy humanoid ears.

Also, remember, you all, e621 is for more than porn or erotica. There's lots of non-sexual and non-fetish stuff here.
