Yeah but Pix has superiority issues and a big ego. So everything Lucky does is going to, in Pix's mind, reflect on Pix or the eevee species as a whole.

That does not mean Pix is right. Just that it seems to be Pix's way of thinking.

No doubt left that Pix is only prejudiced towards other Eeveelutions and not just Dark-types.

But I wonder if he hates all the other Eeveelutions equally or some more than others, not that either of those are good.

It did, and that's exactly why Lucky's here actually.

The guildmaster says (on page 17 in the pool) that Lucky has no prior experience nor affiliations. Literally just some random dude off the street. And yet he passed the physical examination and even had above average endurance.

He's here BECAUSE of how raw and untrained he is. Because he's done nothing to reach his limits and still managed to pass.

And also because the guild is apparently on a Dark type hiring spree.

I dunno, if this were a test, I don't think he would have passed it :-] (Even his endurance doesn't look so hot in that second panel!)

The way everyone is reacting to Lucky's "performance" implies something's not right with his skill level, even as a fresh recruit off the street. Maybe battling isn't such a big deal at the Expedition Society? Perhaps they have desk jobs? But that's not the implication here, and if the org is as regimented as it's played up to be, it sure would be odd to allow him what amounts to remedial move training.
