Eh. I'm a fan of the S. Andrew Swann proposal myself. Dr. Clef's is just an okay one, in my opinion.

I see a god observing the behaviors and evolution of his primitive animal like creation which over time will come to look more and more like him. Or 2 lucky individuals of a highly developed civilization were chosen to experience Nirvana and meet their God. But that's just me.
