To add to that, this was aired alongside the website special pages detailing how the "black shorts" of machoke and machamp are actually their skin pattern, and their belts are the only "clothing" they wear, and even then, it's to prevent "muscle stiffening"...

Something that was "never clarified", but people have wanted to see it happen.

And to expand upon it, you'll need to go to the source in that image. it's all in japanese but there is a scene where three gals try to jump a machamp to take it's belt off.

One girl says: "I hear removing the belt causes "muscle stiffening", I must see!"

And before you ask, yes, she is asking in a way that is a double meaning in japanese.
