Character: red (pokemon)

Red is the Pokémon trainer player character in Pokémon Red, Green, & Blue Versions and their remakes. The protagonist of the Pokémon anime, Ash Ketchum, is based on him. His rival is Blue, and his female counterpart in FireRed & LeafGreen Versions is Leaf.

Red reappears in Gold, Silver, & Crystal Versions as the game's superboss, and adult versions of Red and Blue appear as optional bosses in Sun & Moon Versions. Red additionally appears as a fighter in Super Smash Bros., where he fights with Charizard, Ivysaur, and Squirtle.
