in concept the company that's selling _mildly sapient creatures as pets starting to sell replacement children isn't too far of an idea, it's also, like, extremely passé. it's pretty much just retreading 2/3rds of AI/robot stories that have come out of Hollywood. and there just wasn't really anything to latch onto to explore that was really unique to the setting.

The concept itself is nothing to be worried about. I don't mind seeing animal humanoid as long as they focus on abuse and sadbox. What I really worry about is that they might focus more on humanoid or even porn. Abuse is the reason I like FP after all... But I respect artists' choices and I'll probably archive their artworks.
Right now I only share FP to a few Japanese people and I've got some positive reactions.
