Topic: who was the worst offender in e621 history

Posted under General

DasaDevil, what a fucking nerd that guy is, and stinky too. Smells like cheese.

I don't know anyone other than me who has gotten a record for breaking every rule... from two different admins.

LePepper, the guy who made it their life mission to harass the guy who made that Guilmon rape comic, and they claimed to be part of some made up organization against harm to digimon, or something.

Either that, or that guy who became the reason we can now only do 50 note edits per hour...

My first thought was Pacheri. The amount of accounts with the ban reason "Pacheri" is hilarious.

God, you'd think by now they would get tired of making new accounts. That's a hilariously long list of aliases. Even better when you realize they're probably old enough now.

Damn, that was 10 years ago? Sheesh...

Ok? Also I reckon the mods here have a sense of humor, it was probably somebody's alt account they used to evade a suspension,

Legends say to this day, there is some soldier hiding out in the Digiworld woods who thinks the Digiwar's still going on...

LOL, yeah, that was more than a little over the top to read.

The fiend! That's a horrible crime! Al Capone went to prison for the rest of his life for that!

They definitely are if their dA isn't lying, it lists their birth date as April 3rd, 2002. But I doubt they're going to ever get their ban lifted due to the whole mimiff mess and their extensive ban evasion.

Edit: Their new account lists their birth year as 2005, so man, I don't believe anything they say.

I know this is an old forum but I'd say Jasonafex for his behavior pre-ban before he came back, or that one mod who managed to get themselves banned, though I can't remember their name

You mean @Aurali? If we're on the topic of staff, @ImpidiDinkaDoo (and/or @D.D.M) for their aliases and implications whose ramifications we still feel today, though to be fair, it wasn't malicious

snpthecat said:

Yep, that's them, I'm not sure what they did exactly but you've gotta screw up bad to go from 3 green bars to a ban with that much detail under the reason section

snpthecat said:
As for my favourite nominee for the title, I would propose @divineweevil. Permabanned twice and they're still standing. e621's equivalent of herobrine

How'd that happen? And how'd they get banned, it doesn't look like they've ever commented

Robinebra is one of the worst in my opinion.
There are probably still a ton of their uploads that needs a proper replacement.
Their fall from grace was so disappointing to witness.

Here's the kicker. There's some new bans on that page more recent than when you last responded. xD Plus, when someone lied about their age and I found out in my discord server, I perma banned them. They were only a couple weeks away from being 18, but they had lied for well over 2 years to me. I found out, and they were gone for good. Blocked on every platform, banned from everything I run. For life. Lying about your age is no joking matter. The liars are never punished, only the adults who were lied to. Thats why I think the laws should be changed to issue harsher punishments to those who lie.

Thats quite a lot of detail. I wouldn't have expected that when all the sites owned by Bad Dragon seem to barely be managed, ghost towns in terms of staffing. Kind of impressive really. But if you're part of a team and you shit on the team you're a part of, you know its coming. xD

Other than that though, if you wanna look through the long ban list and find out some of the worst, its all public. :P

This is literally the kind of talk that starts age verification laws and furthers the collapse of whatever semblance of privacy we have left
Besides what are you going to do? Fine the kid? Good luck, most won't have a job. Send them to jail? That's far too extreme

Lil bro actually thought he belonged to a freaking military organization that was protecting a fictional species from harmful acts via threats, bullying, and harassment?

Are we sure he should not have been banned for being underage? Because I can't imagine anyone over the age of 13 that would do something like that without either
1. Being completely ironic/Trolling
2. Looking back on it now and collapsing into a black hole that swallows the Earth from the sheer amount of cringe.

I mean, I honestly hope they were trolling, because that level of delusion means they can't separate fiction from reality at all, and the world must be a scary place for them. Holy shit.

I mean, it should be the parents' responsibility to make sure that their 15 year olds don't have access to adult websites and communities.

True. We shouldn't be punished for someone else's poor parenting.
It isn't the internet's responsibility to watch someone's kid,

I fully agree, but that user made no mention of parents, just "punishing those who lie", which would be the kids

LOL, Vas. "More bans incoming!"

Worse: Make them join Tumblr!

It's a miracle I was never banned because I felt like I was menace in every comment section when I first signed up here. Thankfully I've learned how to chill out as I've gotten older!!

I'm probably far from the worst offender on here, but I did some stuff I'm not proud of. Made a lotta people uncomfortable with how I'd just randomly slide into people's DMs on social media, especially if it involved fandom drama. I got in fights a lot. It all culminated in me basically getting put on a DNI list in certain fan spaces like Discord servers. It got so bad, people legit thought I was someone else who got in way worse trouble than I did because we, and I quote, "typed similarly." Yeah... it... it was bad.

That's not even getting into the shit I did on here. My worst offense is saying openly hostile things in poltical threads one time. Got hit with a ban that lasted a week! Some of the stuff I've seen in this thread makes mine seem like a slap on the wrist in comparison.

It was me, Barry. I made them draw Lola Bunny with fewer sexual features so you wouldn't be horny, and reduce your blood flow to make you a millisecond slower.

Consider me mildly curious for this piece of e6 lore.

DDM made mile long BURs which went mostly unchecked, setting up tag trees we either don't need or are straight up incorrect (see topic #61727 for a very recent example)
impi frequently made alias and implication trees without consulting anyone, and iirc they were removed for exactly that

Wasn't there a rule at one point like "don't be Barbados" made in 'honor' of a persistent ban-evading creepy-comments guy?

Actually, more people should join Tumblr in general, especially from here. Furry porn = rent lowering gunshots that make the hellsite still unprofitable and thus actually more livable than other social medias.

You say that but I'm teetering on being banned, lmao

Didn't they ban porn a while ago? That really pissed me off. There's barely any amateur porn anymore and most of it sucks now.

Yes, but you can easily find it if you know where to look. Plus there's a lot of very horny-but-not-porn stuff.

strahaspilot said:

On paper? Yes, absolutely. The rules clearly state that, no, you aren't allowed to post porn on Tumblr. However, what you gotta understand is the last I heard, the number of people working for Tumblr was, like, 200+, the company is actively hemorrhaging money with literally zero yearly profit and the people in charge are more focused on trying to gain money from their userbase that's too weird to be "profitable" in conventional terms. The site is generally too overpopulated with weird stuff that most respectable advertisers don't want to touch the site with a ten foot pole, and any attempts to bring Tumblr into the mainstream that suck ass are typically retracted the moment they ubset their niche yet loyal userbase, i.e. the only reason they're still running. It's actually very easy to find porn, fetish stuff, and overall lewd content if you know where to look, and those things also help keep the Tumblr ecosystem as wild and unique as it is.

They need to try harder, it sure seems like there's a lot of competition who are trying for the same goal.

I'm curious too. What does it look like when I'm banned? XD
Meanwhile: user #1046094

Honestly I think any of the persistent serial ban evaders who keep coming back for years and years only to do the same shit they were banned for are some of the worst offenders. Some of them are not actively trying to do anything malicious, they just for some reason really want to share specific type of art on e621 especially while not learning anything from their past mistakes.

I don't want to encourage any drama over this; it's not productive, & I prefer to foster positivity here. But holy shit, I'm so tired of this guy.

I'm not telling people how to do their job or whatever, but I have to imagine there's technical solutions for this that wouldn't be so labor intensive for staff.

Not really? Ip bans only go so far, and hardware bans are either not possible or get into creepy levels of data collection
